Comissão Europeia | NPL Advisory Panel (Painel Consultivo | Crédito Mal Parado)

The NPL advisory panel is a consultative entity set up by the Commission Services (DG FISMA) in order to provide advice and expertise, in the area of non-performing loans (NPLs), to the Commission and its services.

TASK

Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives

Other / The NPL advisory panel shall bring together experts in the area of NPLs to:

   monitor and assess the situation of NPLs;

   provide the Commission with expert opinions and analysis regarding the functioning and success factors of NPL secondary markets;

   identify areas where further action may be needed or where a specific policy approach might be necessary; and

   draw up targeted policy recommendations for future possible actions in the area of NPLs.
